Dandelion flower gelee

A different jelly than usual …

Ingredients:

  • 400 flowers;
  • 2 liters of water;
  • 8 cloves;
  • 2 lemons;
  • 1 kilo of sugar.

Method:

pick the flowers in the morning, let them dry for 48 hours in a shady place without overlapping them, then boil the flowers in 2 liters of water for 20 minutes with the cloves and lemons cut into pieces, removing the white peel, filter the whole and put it on the fire with the sugar, you will get a syrup, by increasing the boiling time you will get an increasingly thick jelly with a taste similar to honey, put it in pots and close the jars!
